Pankaj Singh Bisht

Mr. Pankaj Singh Bisht is Masters in Social Work (MSW) and having over 10 years of working experience in different levels with various non-government institutions. He is very keen to work with rural community by linking rural people to the socioeconomic business activities. He is a research fellow at Center for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) and very enthusiastic to revive the rural handcrafts, traditional art and culture. He has authored several articles on social issues and awareness campaign through ALAKH. He wants to lead a developmental change to stop youth migration from the villages. He believe that by uniting the youth into small groups and exploring small business opportunities for them will help to establish sustainable enterprises amongst the rural community. Pankaj has worked with SUVIDHA, Integrated Livelihood Support Project, Udyogini, AAROHI, Gene Campaign and CHAHAT. Apart from this he has also worked as an entrepreneur of self employment. As an activist he has participated in the various training and capacity building programs for entrepreneurship development amongst the rural community. He is very self-motivated personality and having very strong willingness to work dedicatedly for integrated development of the Himalayan people.
