आपने बड़े-बड़े शहरों में कई तरह के संग्रहालय देखें होंगे, लेकिन ये संग्रहालय बहुत खास है, क्योंकि इसमें आपको खेती-किसानी से जुड़े यंत्र और औजार देखने को मिलेंगे। ऐसे यंत्र और औजार या तो जिनका इस्तेमाल होना बंद हो गया है या फिर घर के किसी कोने में पड़े होते हैं। मध्य प्रदेश में किसान पद्मश्री बाबूलाल दहिया ने खेत-खलिहान, गाँव के रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी में काम आने वाले माटी से बने बर्तन, लोहे से बनी चीजों का अनूठा संग्रहालय बनाया है। साथ ही बीज बैंक भी बनाया है।

गौरैया दिवस विशेषः मध्य प्रदेश के सतना जिले के एक माध्यमिक विद्यालय में शिक्षिका डॉ. अर्चना शुक्ला अपने छात्रों को पढ़ाई-लिखाई के साथ-साथ पर्यावरण व पशु-पक्षी संरक्षण का पाठ सिखाती हैं। फिलहाल वह गौरैयों को बचाने के लिए अपने विद्यार्थियों को घोंसला बनाना भी सीखा रही हैं।

हर साल लगभग 50 हजार मीट्रिक टन से भी ज्यादा अकेले फूल गोभी का उत्पादन करने वाले मध्य प्रदेश के सतना जिले के किसान इस बार चिंतित हैं। वजह है फूलगोभी की पत्ते तो हरे-भरे हैं लेकिन उसमें फूल बहुत कम लग रहे हैं।
