सरकारी मौसम विभाग खुश है कि वर्षा का उसका पूर्वानुमान जो गड़बड़ा रहा था वह कुछ ठीक होता जा रहा है। हालांकि मानसून का आधा वक़्त गुजरने के बाद वर्षा के वास्तविक आंकड़ों के मुताबिक एक चौथाई भारत पर सूखे का भीषण संकट अभी भी है।

कृषि विभाग किसानों को सोलर फोटोवोल्टैईक इरीगेशन पंप उपलब्ध कराने की कवायद में जुटा हुआ है। पहले आओ-पहले पाओ योजना के तहत ऑन लाइनआवेदन करने वाले किसानों के चयन की प्रक्रिया चल रही है।
