दिल्ली एनसीआर में प्रदूषण और स्मॉग पर रोक के लिए केंद्र सरकार अध्यादेश के माध्यम से एक कानून लायी है। 'वायु गुणवत्ता प्रबंधन अध्यादेश' में दिल्ली एनसीआर में प्रदूषण के जिम्मेदार लोगों पर पांच साल तक की जेल की सजा और एक करोड़ रूपये जुर्माने का कड़ा प्रावधान किया गया है। इसको लेकर एक आयोग के गठन की भी बात की गई है।
