Nine months after violent clashes during a farmers' stir in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri, Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait organised a 75-hour long protest in the district and reasserted the demands of the cultivators. The main demands include sacking of Union Minister Ajay Mishra 'Teni', withdrawal of legal cases registered against the farmers and a legal guarantee on the minimum support price. Details here.

कृषि कानूनों Farm laws के खिलाफ 8 महीने से आंदोलन कर रहे संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा ने दिल्ली में किसान संसद शुरु की है। संसद के मानूसन सत्र तक किसानों की ये संसद रोज लगेगी और प्रस्ताव पास करेगी।

आज पहले प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा और अखिलेश यादव की गिरफ्तारी के बाद, राज्य की राजधानी लखनऊ में आम आदमी पार्टी के कम से कम 25 प्रदर्शनकारी नेताओं को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है। उत्तर प्रदेश के लखीमपुर खीरी हिंसा में चार किसानों और तीन भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं सहित आठ लोगों की मौत हो गई है।
