अरावली की पहाड़ियों में बसे खोरी गांव में करीब 10 हजार परिवारों के करीब 50 हजार लोग रहते हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गांव को वन विभाग की जमीन को अवैध कब्जा मानते हुए 'अतिक्रमण' हटाने का निर्देश दिया है। अपने जीवन की पूरी कमाई लगाकर घर-जमीने खरीदने वाले बेघर हो रहे हैं।

खदान मजूदरों में होने वाली फेफड़ों की लाइलाज बीमारी सिलिकोसिस से पीड़ित मरीजों की कोरोना महामारी में मुश्किलें बढ़ी हुई हैं। मध्य प्रदेश में ऐसे तमाम लोगों की न जांच हो पा रही है न दवाएं मिल पा रही हैं। पुर्नवास का लंबा इंतजार भी खत्म नहीं हो रहा।
