उत्तर प्रदेश के पश्चिमी जिले फिरोजाबाद, मथुरा, आगरा और एटा में पिछले दो हफ्तों से रहस्यमय बुखार की चपेट में हैं। अकेले फिरोजाबाद अकेले में 2 सितंबर तक 50 लोगों की मौत हो गई, जिनमें 32 बच्चे हैं। आईसीएमआर की एक केंद्रीय टीम प्रकोप की जांच कर रही है जबकि राज्य सरकार ने निगरानी बढ़ा दी है।
