तमिलनाडु के दक्षिण पूर्वी हिस्से में स्थित रामनाथपुरम जिले के नारिप्पिय्यूर गाँव में एक प्रयोग किया गया है। इस सूखा प्रभावित इलाके में समुद्र के जल से रोजाना 20,000 लीटर पेयजल तैयार किया जा रहा है।
