प्रोजेक्ट बोल्ड (bamboo Oasis on Lands in Drought) के तहत लेह में बांस के पौधे लगाए जा रहे हैं। लेह-लद्दाख के मठों में बड़े पैमाने पर अगरबत्तियों का इस्तेमाल होता है, जो अभी तक दूसरे राज्यों से आती हैं। बांस के पौधों के प्रयोग के सफल होने पर इनका निर्माण स्थानीय स्तर पर किया जाएगा।
