More than 33 million people in Pakistan have been affected by floods since June this year. Bangladesh is grappling with both floods and drought. And in India, early heatwaves, followed by early floods, and now drought-like conditions in the Indo-Gangetic Plains, have affected our main food crops – wheat and paddy.
