विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह हर वर्ष एक से सात जुलाई को मनाया जाता है, इसकी शुरुआत 1991 में महिलायों के बीच स्तनपान को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाने से हुई थी। हर वर्ष इसे एक नए विषय के साथ मनाया जाता है, इस वर्ष 'स्तनपान: जीवन की नींव' इस विषय के साथ मनाया जा रहा है।
