दीपावली पर लक्ष्मी पूजन के साथ दीपक जलाने की परंपरा है। लक्ष्मी पूजन से जुड़ी चीजों में नियमों की जानकारी ज़रूरी है; कई बार जानकारी के अभाव में कुछ ऐसी चीजें हो जाती हैं, जिनका नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ता है।

इस बार एक उपहार ने मेरे बचपन की दीपावली की याद दिला दी, जब दीपावली के उत्सव में कपड़े, पटाखे, लड्डू और मुरुक्कु (चकली) के साथ ही दीपावली लेह्यम भी जरूरी होता था। जोकि दीपावली में हमारे ढ़ेर सारे पकवानों को खाने के बाद भी हमारा खयाल रखता था।
