ओडिशा में कोरापुट अदरक की उच्च गुणवत्ता के लिए जाना जाता है, यहां पर करीब 2,599 हेक्टेयर से ज्यादा भूमि में जैविक रूप अदरक की खेती होती है। लेकिन किसानों के लिए खुश होने की कोई बात नहीं है, क्योंकि आंध्र प्रदेश और कर्नाटक से गैर-जैविक अदरक के बाजार में बाढ़ आने के कारण अदरक की कीमत अब तक के सबसे निचले स्तर पर आ गई है।
