उत्तर प्रदेश में धान खरीद की स्थिति बिगड़ती ही जा रही है। हाइब्रिड धान गले की फांस बन गया है। बढ़ते नुकसान के कारण प्रदेश के मिलर्स सरकारी धान की कुटाई नहीं कर रहे हैं तो इस कारण किसान मंडी में धान नहीं बेच पा रहे। ऐसे में सरकार के सामने खरीद लक्ष्य को पूरा करने की भी चुनौती है।
