Residents of Keran in the LoC [Line of Control] in J&K welcome the government’s move to promote tourism in the area.

The competition launched by the Ministry of Tourism aims to create rural experiences in tourism to promote indigenous jobs, and preserve local culture and heritage.

Biswanath Ghat is selected as the Best Tourism Village of India 2023 from amongst 791 applications from 31 states and Union Territories. Details here.
