सचिन कोठारी ने दस साल पहले दिल्ली में नौकरी छोड़कर देहरादून के मालदेवता में पौधों की नर्सरी का व्यवसाय शुरू किया और आज साल भर में उनके यहां तैयार हुए फूलों और सब्जियों के 10 लाख पौधे देश के अलग-अलग शहरों तक जाते हैं। इस व्यवसाय की सबसे अच्छी बात है यह साल भर चलता रहता है।

विकास बोनसाई में अपना नाम गिनीज़ वर्ल्ड रिकार्ड्स में दर्ज कराना चाहते हैं। अभी तक पुणे की प्राजक्ता काले के नाम ये रिकॉर्ड है, जिनके पास करीब चार हजार बोनसाई हैं। विकास का लक्ष्य आने कुछ कुछ साल में पांच हजार से ज्यादा पेड़ तैयार कर गिनीज़ वर्ल्ड रिकार्ड्स में अपना नाम दर्ज करना है।
