The renowned rath yatra in Odisha takes on special significance in Remanda village in Jharsuguda, where it starts three days after the Puri rath yatra, and is flagged off by a ceremony called chhera pahanra, which has traditionally been undertaken by only Muslims in this village. कोरोना महामारी के 2 साल के बाद, ओडिशा के पुरी में 1 जुलाई से शुरू होने वाली रथ यात्रा में इस बार आम जनता भी शामिल हो सकेगी। इस बार कम से कम 15 लाख भक्तों के आने की उम्मीद है। बढ़ई और चित्रकार रात भर काम कर रहे हैं, ताकि रथों को बनाने का काम पूरा कर सकें।
