लखनऊ के चारबाग स्टेशन पर आने वाली 17 ट्रेनों का रास्ता रेल प्रशासन ने बदल दिया है। अब यह रेलगाड़ियां लखनऊ जंक्शन नहीं आएंगी। ट्रेनों की आवाजाही को आसान बनाने के लिए रेल प्रशासन ने यह कदम उठाया है।

A forest guard shares with us his chance encounter with an elephant that had strayed out of the jungle. He first landed on the railway tracks, then crossed the National Highway and ultimately also managed to fall into a coal mine pit. It was a harrowing experince for the guard as this was his first job. But he learnt something important. The elephant had not strayed. The humans, in the name of development, have entered into his home, leaving him confused.

On August 26, the Indian relay squad with Muhammed Anas Yahiya, Amoj Jacob, Muhammad Ajmal Variyathodi, and Rajesh Ramesh reached the finals of World Athletics Championships, held in Budapest, Hungary. In addition to their love for athletics, the squad shares a commonality of humble backgrounds.
