कोविड महामारी के चलते लंबे समय से स्कूल-कॉलेज बंद हैं, घरों में बैठे बच्चे ऑनलाइन माध्यमों से पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं। जैसे कि धीरे धीरे स्थिति में सुधार आ रहा है। ऐसे में शिक्षा को भी अनलॉक करने की जरूरत है, शिक्षा का अधिकार फोरम ने स्कूलों को एक बार फिर खोलने के लिए मांगपत्र जारी किया है।

शिक्षा पर करने वाले कार्यकर्ताओं व विशेषज्ञों ने 1 फरवरी को पेश बजट 2022 को स्कूलों को फिर से खोलने, सरकारी स्कूल व्यवस्था की मजबूती और शिक्षा अधिकार कानून के क्रियान्वयन और विस्तार पर ज़ोर देने के बजाय महज डिजिटल लर्निंग पर ध्यान केन्द्रित करने और ई-विद्या के विस्तार का प्रस्ताव को निराशाजनक बताया है।
