लकड़ी के खिलौनों की मांग में कमी, बाजार की अनुपलब्धता जैसे कई कारण से बुधनी के लकड़ी के खिलौने बनाने वाले कारीगरों को चुनौतियों का सामना कर पड़ा है। लेकिन राज्य सरकार का उनके शिल्प को समर्थन देने का वादे और कुछ नवाचार की वजह से कुछ वृद्धि भी हुई है, जिससे इन कारीगरों को उम्मीद की एक किरण दिखाई है।
