ऊसर सुधार पर काम करने वाले लखनऊ स्थित ICAR के संस्थान केन्द्रीय मृदा लवणता अनुसंधान संस्थान ने कुछ वर्षों पहले जिप्सम के विकल्प के रूप में कुछ जीवाणुओं की खोजकर एक बॉयो फॉर्मूला बनाया था। यूपी समेत कई राज्यों में इसकी सफलता को देखते हुए इसके निर्माण के लिए एक कंपनी को लाइसेंस और तकनीकी ट्रांसफर की गई है।
