परसों यानी 11 अक्टूबर को जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुंछ में हुए आतंकी हमले में पांच भारतीय जवान शहीद हो गए थे। छब्बीस वर्षीय सिपाही सरज सिंह, जो उत्तर प्रदेश के शाहजहांपुर के रहने वाले थे, उनमें से एक थे। एक किसान का बेटे, उनके दो बड़े भाई भी सशस्त्र बलों में हैं। सरज का पार्थिव शरीर आज उनके गांव पहुंचने की उम्मीद है।
