पुराने ढोकरा शिल्प को अपनाने और उस पर काम करने की वजह से न सिर्फ ओडिशा के कई आदिवासी निवासियों को रोजी रोटी कमाने में मदद मिली है, बल्कि यह भी सुनिश्चित हुआ है कि वह अपने परिवार के साथ रह रहे हैं। उनके उत्पादों को ओडिशा ग्रामीण विकास और विपणन सोसायटी बाजार तक पहुंचाने में मदद भी कर रही है।
