देश में गेहूं, चावल, चना, गन्ना, तिलहन और दलहन के रिकॉर्ड उत्पादन का अनुमान है। कृषि मंत्रालय के दूसरे अग्रिम अनुमान के मुताबिक देश भर में साल 2021-22 में 316.06 मिलियन टन खाद्यान अनुमानित है जो पिछले साल से 5.32 मिलियन टन ज्यादा है।

मुश्किलों से जूझते हुए भी देश का किसान खूब उत्पादन कर रहा है। सरकार के अग्रिम अनुमान के मुताबिक 2021-22 के खरीफ सीजन में 150.50 मिलियन टन रिकॉर्ड खाद्यान पैदा होगा। इस वर्ष के लिए गेहूं उत्पादन लक्ष्य 110 मिलियन टन है।
