In a gurukul set up by him in Hussainpur village in Nalanda district, Bihar, Monu Kumar wants to revive the learning traditions of the ancient Nalanda University. The students learn not just science, mathematics, philosophy, meta physics, history, and sanskrit, but also about Ramanujam, Buddha, Vivekanand, Aryabhatta and other personalities.
