श्रीनगर के प्रमुख तस्वीरों में कई बार जो फ़लों और सब्ज़ियों से लदे शिकारे नज़र आते हैं वो सब श्रीनगर में सूर्योदय के समय लगने वाले 'गुदिर' के होते हैं। श्रीनगर में सुबह लगने वाले सब्ज़ी के बाज़ार को स्थानीय भाषा में 'गुदिर' कहा जाता है। सरल भाषा में कहें तो यह झील में नावों के ऊपर लगने वाला बाज़ार या मंडी होता है।
