The two minute film Runway for Water, released by nonprofit Water For People, is a stark statement about what women and girls in rural India go through to find water for their families.

While inaugurating the first flight between the state capital and Varanasi, CM Adityanath mentioned that in 2016-17, Varanasi Airport witnessed 1.9 million passengers but in 2022–23, the number of visitors has soared to more than 2.5 million. Details here.
