नेशनल क्राइम रिकॉर्ड ब्यूरो (एनसीआरबी) के आंकड़ों के अनुसार 2019 में दिहाड़ी मजदूरों, विवाहिता महिलाओं के बाद बेरोजगारों और विद्यार्थियों में आत्महत्या करने की प्रवृत्ति सबसे अधिक देखी गई। ये आंकड़े देश में बेरोजगारी की बेकाबू होती स्थिति की गंभीरता को बयां करती हैं।
