अब बीएलओ यानि बूथ लेवल ऑफिसर से पहचान पत्र नहीं भेजे जाएंगे। डाकिया ही वोटरों को लिफाफा देगा। यह लिफाफा निर्वाचन विभाग की ओर से तैयार कराया गया है। रजिस्ट्री डाक और लिफाफे का पूरा खर्च भी विभाग उठाएगा।

निर्वाचन आयोग की ओर से 25 जनवरी को राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस के मौके पर लोगों के लिए एक नई ऑनलाइन सुविधा शुरू की जा रही है। इस डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म से लोग अपने वोटर आईडी की पीडीएफ फाइल प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
