स्मार्ट सिटी देहरादून परियोजना के तहत उत्तराखंड की राजधानी में कई जगह पर 24 वाटर एटीएम लगाए गए हैं। दुकानदारों, झुग्गी बस्तियों में रहने वालों, प्रवासी मजदूरों और यात्रियों को इनसे साफ पीने का पानी मिलता है। यही नहीं 50 फीसदी एटीएम महिलाएं ही चलाती है।

Authorities admit incomplete desilting of the drain whereas CETP owners blame the October rains for it. Farmers have lost their standing paddy crop and are now worried they may not be able to sow the rabi wheat in time.
