केन्द्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के अनुसार भारत में हर रोज 24,940 टन प्लास्टिक कचरा उत्पन्न होता है। किसी कानून को लागू करके या जुर्माना लगाकर पर्यावरण को नहीं बचाया जा सकता है।
