Nepal Flood Ground Report: अस्पताल में मरीजों से ज्यादा पहुंचे शव, 94 शवों में सिर्फ 9 की पहचान

At Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital, the number of bodies arriving is now far higher than the number of injured patients. According to the hospital’s Deputy Director, 94 bodies have arrived at the hospital so far, but only 9 have been identified. The hospital had prepared to handle more than 200-300 patients, but only 67 patients have been brought in. Among the survivors was a 5-year-old child who was rescued alive after being trapped in mud for nearly 70 hours. With the number of missing people still high, identifying the dead has become a major challenge. DNA samples are being collected from unidentified bodies, which are being given special identification numbers and buried so they can be recovered later if a DNA match is found.
