सिंचाई मंत्री धर्मपाल सिंह ने बताया कि सूखे की समस्या का समाधान आईआईटी कानपुर ने कर दिया है। 5. 5 करोड़ रुपये में 1000 वर्ग किलोमीटर क्षेत्र में कृत्रिम बारिश कराई जा सकेगी।

Deficient monsoon rainfall has affected millions of farmers across 65 districts in Uttar Pradesh. While they are demanding an official declaration of drought, farmers from at least 18 other districts in the state were hit by floods leading to further crop losses.
