अगर महिला किसानों को पुरुषों के बराबर संसाधन मिलें, तो खेती की पैदावार 20-30% तक बढ़ सकती है। इससे दुनिया भर में भुखमरी 15% तक कम हो सकती है। महिला किसान सिर्फ़ परिवारों का पेट ही नहीं भरतीं, बल्कि ग्रामीण समुदायों को मज़बूत बनाती हैं और देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में भी बड़ा योगदान देती हैं।

Today, as many as 18,000 rural women in the Dindori district are earning better incomes by cultivating these millets and processing them into marketable products like cookies, breakfast cereals, biscuits, snacks, and sweets.
