उत्तर प्रदेश में अब आम जनता भी बड़े निजी अस्पतालों में मुफ़्त इलाज करा सकेगी; राज्य सरकार ने प्रदेश में 70 प्रतिशत परिवारों के आयुष्मान कार्ड बना कर रिकॉर्ड कायम किया है।

बलरामपुर अस्पताल में 'आयुष्मान भारत प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य' योजना के पायलट रन का उद्घाटन सिद्धार्थ नाथ सिंह ने किया।

अब ट्रांसजेंडर समुदाय भी आयुष्मान भारत योजना का लाभ ले सकेंगे, इसके साथ उन्हें सालाना पांच लाख का स्वास्थ्य बीमा का लाभ भी दिया जाएगा।
