आपने बड़े-बड़े शहरों में कई तरह के संग्रहालय देखें होंगे, लेकिन ये संग्रहालय बहुत खास है, क्योंकि इसमें आपको खेती-किसानी से जुड़े यंत्र और औजार देखने को मिलेंगे। ऐसे यंत्र और औजार या तो जिनका इस्तेमाल होना बंद हो गया है या फिर घर के किसी कोने में पड़े होते हैं। मध्य प्रदेश में किसान पद्मश्री बाबूलाल दहिया ने खेत-खलिहान, गाँव के रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी में काम आने वाले माटी से बने बर्तन, लोहे से बनी चीजों का अनूठा संग्रहालय बनाया है। साथ ही बीज बैंक भी बनाया है।

In his Independence Day speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, said the mother earth was being destroyed due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Farmers will have to make some drastic changes in the way they have been functioning. Discarding modern practices and adopting old methodologies in farming won't help in undoing the damage that's already being done. We will have to make ancient methods favorable to the modern era

However, a renowned farmer in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna is doing everything in his capacity to maintain and thrive his museum of obsolete farm tools which are now hard to find in the country's rural hinterland. The museum is a sanctuary to 250 such tools made of metal, wood, bamboo, stone and leather. Details here.
