पर्यावरण मंत्रालय ने पर्यावरण प्रभाव आकलन का एक मसौदा जारी किया है और लोगों से इसके लिए सलाह मांगी है। वहीं पर्यावरण से जुड़े लोगों, विशेषज्ञों ने एक चिट्ठी लिखकर इस मसौदे की कमियों को गिनाते हुए इसे वापस लेने का अनुरोध केंद्र सरकार से किया है।
