अगर महिला किसानों को पुरुषों के बराबर संसाधन मिलें, तो खेती की पैदावार 20-30% तक बढ़ सकती है। इससे दुनिया भर में भुखमरी 15% तक कम हो सकती है। महिला किसान सिर्फ़ परिवारों का पेट ही नहीं भरतीं, बल्कि ग्रामीण समुदायों को मज़बूत बनाती हैं और देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में भी बड़ा योगदान देती हैं।
