शोधकर्ताओं ने सुझाव दिया है कि लक्षद्वीप के लिए समुद्र-स्तर में अनुमानित वृद्धि के प्रभावों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, योजना दिशानिर्देश तैयार करने के लिए उपयुक्त तटीय सुरक्षा उपायों को अपनाना जरूरी हो गया है।
