थनैला रोग एक जीवाणु जनित रोग है। यह रोग ज्यादातर दुधारू पशु गाय, भैंस, बकरी को होता है। इस बीमारी से देश में 60 प्रतिशत गाये, भैंसे और बकरी पीड़ित है। यही नहीं इसके कारण दुग्ध उत्पादकों को कई हजार करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान होता है।
