इस्मा ने विपणन वर्ष 2019-19 के चीनी उत्पादन अनुमान को कम करके 3.07 करोड़ टन कर दिया है। जबकि जुलाई 2018 में चालू विपणन सत्र के दौरान 3.5 करोड़ टन चीनी उत्पादन का अनुमान व्यक्त किया गया था जो अब तब उत्पादन सर्वोच्च स्तर था।
