Two minor girls who were raped and murdered in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri yesterday. Their autopsy report report has revealed that the two girls were raped, strangulated and then hung from a tree. Two minor Dalit sisters in Lakhimpur Kheri district were gangraped and murdered yesterday. Their dead bodies were found hanging from a tree. As reflected in the latest data on the crime records in India, the incident is not an isolated case as every third rape victim belonging to the Dalit community is a minor. Also, 12.22 per cent of the total rape cases reported in the country are of women belonging to the Dalit community.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट की सुनवाई में आज, 8 अक्टूबर को, भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश एनवी रमन की अगुवाई वाली पीठ ने कहा कि वह राज्य सरकार की कार्यवाही से संतुष्ट नहीं है। इस बीच, लखीमपुर खीरी हत्याकांड का आरोपी आशीष मिश्रा आज भी यूपी पुलिस के सामने नहीं पेश हुआ। बताया जा रहा है कि आरोपी नेपाल भाग गया है।

लखीमपुर हिंसा मामले में जांच कर रही यूपी पुलिस की विशेष जांच एजेंसी (एसआईटी) ने कहा है कि 3 अक्टूबर को हुई हिंसा सोची समझी सुनियोजित साजिश थी। इस रिपोर्ट के सामने आने के बाद किसान संगठनों और विपक्षीदलों ने सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए केंद्रीय गृह राज्य मंत्री को बर्खास्त करने की मांग तेज कर दी है
