हमारे नेताओं ने मुसलमानों की आइडेन्टिटी यानी पहचान की चिन्ता तो की है, भारतवासियों की एक कौम नहीं बनने दी। सबसे पहले भारत में हिन्दू और मुसलमान के बीच की दीवार गिरनी चाहिए फिर भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच का बैरभाव शायद घटे।

भारत के बंटवारे का एक ही आधार समझ में आता है और वह है कायदे आजम मोहम्मद अली जिन्ना की जिद और उनकी शर्तें जिनके सामने भारत के बड़े-बड़े नेता झुक गए और वह सब कुछ मान लिया जो जिन्ना चाहते थे। कहने में संकोच नहीं होता कि बंटवारे के समय यदि वल्लभ भाई पटेल प्रधानमंत्री होते तो रेडक्लिफ की बनाई गई लकीर भिन्न होती और भारत का भाग्य 70 साल तक अजीबो गरीब हालात में नहीं रहता।

The Kalbelia community has its own traditional craft in which the gudari work or quilting is done on recycled pieces of fabric using vibrant coloured threads like acrylic wool yarns, silk and mirrors. The Kalbelia Craft Revival Project is trying to revive this art and support the livelihoods of its artists who are forced to work as daily wage labourers.
