अगर महिला किसानों को पुरुषों के बराबर संसाधन मिलें, तो खेती की पैदावार 20-30% तक बढ़ सकती है। इससे दुनिया भर में भुखमरी 15% तक कम हो सकती है। महिला किसान सिर्फ़ परिवारों का पेट ही नहीं भरतीं, बल्कि ग्रामीण समुदायों को मज़बूत बनाती हैं और देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में भी बड़ा योगदान देती हैं।

They also batted for a legal guarantee of the MSP and suggested that horticultural and forest produce should be used for ensuring the nutritional requirements of local communities. Details here.
