एक समय था, जब पुराने लखनऊ में तांगे दौड़ते दिखायी देते थे, फिर ई-रिक्शा और ऑटो चलने के के कारण तांगे को सवारी मिलना मुश्किल हो गया, लेकिन लखनऊ आने वाले पर्यटकों की वजह से कुछ कमाई हो जाती थी, लेकिन पिछले तीन महीनों से तांगे ही नहीं चले, अब वो अपना पेट कैसे भरे और कैसे अपने घोड़ों का।

सूर्य देवता को अर्घ्य देने के साथ ही आस्था के महापर्व छठ पूजा का समापन हो गया, चार दिनों तक चलने वाले इस पर्व की शुरूआत नहाय खाय से होती है और समापन ऊषा अर्घ्य के साथ होता है।
