I remember when I joined the Sanaiya Jat Model Primary School in Samvilayan in Uttar Pradesh's Ramapur district five years ago, the situation here was not as I expected it to be but I had a desire to do something but due to lack of sufficient funds, I could not do much.

Yet, I decided to revamp this school, make some changes in the infrastructure but it was not just my calling alone, so I thought why not ask for help from the local people and make them aware about the importance of education.

We were doing good work in the school so people were being influenced by us and they themselves wanted to support us somehow.

I started this call for action from my home and told my mother that your birthday is coming up and that she should do something for my school.

She liked the idea and on her birthday, she first supported us with a contribution of Rs 11,000. From there, the charitable initiative began and people started supporting us, some with even a contribution of Rs 21,000 while others came up with Rs 2,100. In this way, everyone is contributing in some way or another.

We collected approximately one lakh rupees through community support and used the same amount to run smart classes.

We collected approximately one lakh rupees through community support and used the same amount to run smart classes. With this, we did a lot of new things in the school. I keep sharing my school's activities on social media, and the most special day came when Vinati Kaushal, Manoj Kaushal, and some of their companions came from Canada in January this year.

They used to keep watching school videos and photos on social media. We took them around our school and they talked to the children. They were quite impressed seeing the school environment and the children. They announced a scholarship on the same day that whoever passes from here will be given a scholarship of five thousand rupees.

Now, when the new session started in April, the distribution of scholarships to four meritorious students of five thousand rupees each also began. They also announced to give a grant of ten thousand rupees to the school every year, and not only that, they have also arranged for 16 new bench desks for the children. The villagers and children are quite happy with such community support.

The teachers who work with me are also quite happy that our hard work has paid off, and now more people will come forward to support us.
