सरकार जीरो बजट प्राकृतिक खेती बढ़ाने की बात कर रही है। लेकिन जैविक खेती के लिए बजट कम कर दिया है। परंपरागत कृषि विकास योजना का बजट मामूली बढ़ा है जबकि रसायनिक उर्वरक के लिए सब्सिडी में करोड़ों रुपए की बढ़ोतरी की गई है।

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बजट भाषण में वे सारी बातें दोहराई जो राष्ट्रपति के अभिभाषण का हिस्सा थी। उन्होंने 4 करोड़ किसानों को पीएम फसल बीमा योजना का लाभ मिलने और पीएम किसान योजना के 11.8 करोड़ लाभार्थी किसानों का जिक्र ख़ास तौर पर किया।
