मध्य पूर्व में इज़राइल और ईरान के बीच बढ़ते युद्ध और अमेरिका की सीधी सैन्य कार्रवाई ने तीसरे विश्व युद्ध की आहट को तेज़ कर दिया है। राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप की नीतियाँ शांति की बजाय टकराव को हवा देती नज़र आ रही हैं — न तो नाटो देशों से परामर्श और न ही संयुक्त राष्ट्र की अनुमति। युद्धविराम के प्रयासों में विफल ट्रंप अब एटॉमिक ठिकानों पर बमबारी जैसे निर्णय लेकर वैश्विक अस्थिरता को और बढ़ा रहे हैं।

पुराने समय में गाँव अपने में पूर्ण होते थे और लगभग प्रत्येक गाँव में या पास पड़ोस में कारपेन्टर, लोहार, जुलाहे रहते थे, जो स्थानीय आवश्यकता के लिए चीजों की आपूर्ति करते थे। अब यह सब शहर को चले गए, भले ही वहाँ जीवन सुखी नहीं है खान-पान उतना अच्छा तो नहीं है, लेकिन दूसरी आवश्यकताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए उन्होंने शहर जाने का फैसला किया। कष्ट की बात यह है कि यह व्यावसायिक समूह जातियों के रूप में आ गए और उनमें ऊंच-नीच की भावना पैदा कर दी गई, यही से हमारे समाज का विघटन और विभाजन शुरू हुआ होगा।

जो बायोलॉजिकल आँकड़े आ रहे हैं, उसके हिसाब से एक दिन मानव जाति का अस्तित्व ही संकट में पड़ सकता है। घटती हुई प्रजनन क्षमता के कारण आबादी घटने की आशंका हो या फिर दूसरे जनसंख्या विस्फोट का डर, दोनों ही परिस्थितियाँ भयावह है। उससे बचने का एक ही उपाय, “भारतीय जीवन दर्शन” और “जीवन शैली” को अपनाने का तरीका है।

There should be absolute decentralization of local administration till the level of Panchayat

From the administrative view point, a tripartite division should have been more viable for three regions -- Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh -- which are mutually exclusive in aspects of language, religion, geography and situation. The present division seems motivated by the fear of creating and managing a separate hostile province of Kashmir valley

Despite being launched, it is highly unlikely that the politicians will be able to execute Ayushman scheme successfully. The success of the scheme will hinge upon hospitals, doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and pharmacists, who often abandon patients and go on strikes
